Tether is designed as a private space for groups to coordinate events, share updates, and preserve memories. This policy explains the information Tether uses to provide the service and how that information is handled.
Information we collect
Tether may collect information you provide when you create and use an account, including your name, email address, profile information, Tether and Event membership, posts, photos, videos, messages, and other content you choose to share through the service. Technical information needed to operate and secure the service may also be processed.
How information is used
Information is used to authenticate accounts, provide Tether features, maintain group and Event permissions, deliver user-requested content, send transactional account and service emails, prevent abuse, troubleshoot problems, and maintain the security and reliability of the application.
Sharing and service providers
Tether does not sell your personal information. Information may be processed by service providers that support hosting, authentication, data storage, file storage, application delivery, and transactional email. Content shared inside Tether is made available according to the Tether and Event permissions associated with that content.
Your content and account
You are responsible for the content you upload and for respecting the privacy of the people included in it. If you have a question about your account, your information, or a deletion request, contact Tether using the address below.
